Amichai had his follow-up appointment with his surgeon on Monday. It was a simple engagement--the surgeon took off his final bandages and checked him out while Amichai played with his name tag. We learned that Amichai's incisions are healing beautifully and that he will be ready for activation this coming Monday. He affirmed that Amichai's sudden clingyness is indeed common after surgery, and not a sign of our bad parenting, and sent us on our way! Next stop, activation! More details to come on Monday!
