1st day of school!

We sent our Ami boy to kindergarten this September and not without tremendous fanfare and excitement...he was SO ready for school to begin and SO incredibly excited about it.  Noa began her preschool experience with equal excitement, and transitioned into her classroom with complete ease--amazing love girl loves every aspect of her day there.  She talks constantly about all of her friends, about playing all day and learning with her teachers.  She is signing in full sentences now, her expressive language with her tiny little hands absolutely exploding in the weeks after school started.  We are so blessed to have Noa in the same classroom that Amichai was in for two years---two more years for our family with an exceptional teacher...two years of voices off, 100% signing classroom.  Incredible.  Long story, but Ami's year had more transitional bumps, but he is now super happy every day to go to school, he is learning like the proverbial sponge, new interests and questions and explorations every day.  His needs are being met in terms of reading, writing and math as his teacher's adapt the curriculum to fit his level of learning---and we are SO grateful, more than ever, to have him in this school.  All in all, we are just so incredibly blessed when it comes to education--PS 347 is THE match for us in basically every way-we are so so grateful and aware of how blessed we are to have our kids there.
