Snow day

Today is Amichai's first snow day! It corresponds with our first full day on our own together, with Shayna at work. Everyone is doing well...Ami is, of course, seemingly unaffected by this transition, and Shayna and I are working together to create the very best case scenario for our family. We felt optimistic and calm about it all--and ready to weather the tough parts about it until it regularizes in the coming months.

So, snow!! wild! Another new thing in the world for Ami to discover and know. An early winter snow storm, just after Hurricane Sandy. Tough.

It didn't, however, much change the course of Ami's day. I tried to show him the snow out the window, but he was more interested in the lights inside. I guess that excitement about snow comes later, lol.
